Another scrapbook

OMGosh!  November didn't last long, huh?  I remember having Thanksgiving Dinner at my house, but cannot believe how fast the time goes.   Sheila and I went shopping right after eating as the stores opened early for Black Friday - we watched the sun rise while sitting in the parking lot at Sam's - what a night.  We were so tired we _________ (you can fill in the blank with almost anything and it would fit...LOL).  We will probably do it again - just not this year.  We are getting ready for the holidays and looking forward to being with family and friends.  Here's another scrapbook (just a few pages) - I did this one just in time to enter it into the Permian Basin Fair & Expo. back in September.  This is such fun.  If you just think you would like to try making a scrapbook - don't put it off - just jump right in and DO IT.  That was the advice I got from a lady on youtube late one night.  She was right - there's no right or wrong to this.  It certainly puts JOYINMYDAY in more than one way.  You will be so surprised at what you can do.  Do it to please yourself.  Being creative is real good for your spirit - it is fueled by the spirit and is a two-way blessing.  Of course, there are 1000's of ways to be creative (let your juices flow).  Just be sure to do at least one thing really GOOD for yourself each day.  [This is a 6" square chipboard album and matching box is 'grunge' cardboard.  The first photo is the album inside the box; 2) a lunch sack altered, 3) back of lunch sack, 4-5) explosion card.

First Blog

Hello, (I added some more pages from both book for your preview)

I'm so excited to be blogging - have wanted to do this for awhile and decided "I'm not gett'n any younger," might as well do this today.  I have been making some really neat mini scrapbooks with a matching storage box and I thought this would be be a good way to get some "exposure" and also keep my computer skills going (LOL).  Well let's put it this way, I could use a whole lot more experience in honing my computer skills.  I will be posting videos of four or five of my scrapbooks (hopefully today) right here on my blog.  I have my work cut out for me - I already know that much.  I'm grateful for all of the 'joyinmyday' the Lord places there every single day.  More about joyinmyday later.  I also have a site on Estsy.com - Craftsbykayleen  (HOWEVER) I do not have any items listed at present.  Love and blessings to all, Linda
